This stand light was crafted from a Maxtone alto saxophone that had already been classified as junk. The stand, originally designed for assembling saxophones, was specially modified with textured surfaces and repainted in antique gold. The light emitted from the Edison bulb, radiating through the gorgeous gold bell of the saxophone, creates a gently warm impression. Ideal as accent lighting placed on side tables or similar surfaces to enhance the ambiance of any space. A recommended piece not only for saxophonists but also for lovers of jazz and classical music.
