This piece is a remake of an iron folding table that had been sitting unused in a barn. First, take note of the color selection. Inspired by the streets of Cuba visited during sourcing, vibrant hues were combined to evoke the Caribbean Sea. The tabletop remains iron, retaining its slightly deep design that prevents items from sliding off easily. We laid floorboards underneath and painted them lime green. The UN-P logo branding was intentionally made uneven to evoke the look of long exposure to rain and wind. Placing it outdoors on a patio or balcony, letting it weather, and enjoying the patina as the paint chips over time is a perfectly valid approach. The tabletop and legs detach, making it easy to carry and use only when needed.
