The base pedestal was finished with a sander, layering several stains multiple times before sanding, then finished with wax to achieve a subdued, antique-style sheen. As an accent, the four corners are decorated with lines of high-purity tin that gives a dull sheen. The main column component uses the UNI-PEX horn speaker P-15F (380mm). Overall (as visible in the video), minor scratches and dents required filling with putty to smooth the surface before disassembly and repainting. To emphasize its presence as a horn speaker, the horn section was painted a gray close to its original color. However, to match the base and add a touch of elegance, the base itself was finished in a plated silver tone. For the legs, I sourced retro casters during a buying trip to Toronto. I removed the rust but deliberately left them unpainted to retain their industrial look. Additionally, I fitted anti-slip rubber to the horn and used 5mm thick glass for the tabletop. While its previous use is unknown, after many years it has been reborn as a low table. Its form is simple yet impactful, resulting in a truly industrial piece.
